Dear Beth,
On Monday July 23, real people get to ask the questions during the next Democratic presidential debate. CNN and YouTube are calling on citizens to submit video questions. The best ones will be aired and answered by the candidates during the debate.
The deadline for submissions is this Sunday, July 22. If we flood this contest with thoughtful questions on media reform issues, they won't be able to ignore us. Please create your own video today:
Learn More and Submit Your Video Question for the Presidential Debates
Submitting a question is easy. You can record your question on a computer with a webcam, a digital video camera or even on a cell phone. It takes just 30 seconds to make your video and helps expose important media issues.
All candidates need to take a clear stand on the issues that will shape the future of media in America. But few have spoken out on the trail. Let's make media reform a campaign issue in 2008.
No matter what media issue you care about, we have sample questions, sample videos and lots of background information online. View sample questions. The best arguments for supporting media reform come from personal stories by people like you.
Share Your Video With Us
We look forward to seeing your videos and hopefully watching candidates answer your questions on national TV.
Onward,
