It is very important that we all learn to control or manage our emotions. We must control them for us to be true to ourselves and to others around us, and it is critical step toward living a life that is happy, successful and fulfilled. Now, when I say that you must learn to control them that does not mean that you try to ignore your own feelings, or try to repress them in any way. What I do mean is that you need to listen to your feelings, and figure out what they are trying to tell you. Did you know that your emotions are like little messengers? Yup, that's true! They are letting you know that something is going on and you need to pay attention to see what truly is going on.
Now, if you let your emotions control you, you are going to miss out on the message they are trying to tell you. Of course, if you try to ignore your emotions they will only come back later on at some point in time as anger. So, do not ignore your feelings or be afraid of them.
What you want to do is watch and observe how your emotions rise and fall. Tune into your emotions and identify with any judgements you may be having about they way you feel. These thoughts you have translete into what you believe to be true about your. Now just because this is how you are feeling about yourself at the moment does not make it true or untrue. You must now decide whether you need to make any changes within yourself or not.
