PRICELESS
A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this 20 bill?"  Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the dollar bill up. He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.  "Well," he replied, "What if I do this?"  And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the  decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value in God's eyes. To Him, dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to Him.

Great message.  Thanks for sharing it.  Imagine... we are all priceless to God.  We are more important than the mountains... the planets... the universe.  We should try incorporate that value into our own lives each day and to recognize and respect that for others.

Yes God does except us even when we are very very dirty & deceitful. He allows us to be forgiven & move on in our lives & make something of ourselves.
Kathy I am so Grateful to see you are moving on even during the hard times. These hard times are to strengthen you & help you to grow closer to God. Stay focused on our Great & mighty God. One day God will say to you " Well done my good & faithful servant Well done".
God is using you to heal others too.

Hey Kathy, you brought back a lesson worth revisiting for sure. I heard that as well some time back,and still have it recorded in one of my back offices.

It also reminds me of risk in investments. You put a $20 at the end of a 2x4 and ask a person to walk across the board and pick it up. Then put that same $20 on the same board say three stories high,and ask the person to walk across the 2x4 and pick it up. Their answer,and actions will likely change.

Just more good common sense brain power at work.

Sorry I ended before I intended, I really had a good Idea for folks.

At my office downtown we keep a box in our break room for our local  home for abused,and homeless women. Some poeople only collect at the hloiday's,but the need is all year long. When your on vacation in your luxury hotel,if you see those cute little soaps and shampoo's pick them up, and donate them.

Thats a little tip that I practice, and I know they appreciate anything.
