Hello All My Fellow AdlandPro Family,

This is a very special and important forum for one of our own members here that got hurt quite badly a couple of days ago. I am referring to Kathy Kanouse, and for those of you that have not heard what has happened to her I will give you the details.

Here is a copy of Kathy's forum explaining what happened;

 I would like to let you know that I just got severly burned tonight on my right foot & my right hip.  I was walking backwards with a garden hose & wasn't watching & I walked into hot cools in flip flops, lost my balance & fell & the hot coals came up underneth of my shorts & that was the side I fell on so they burnt me very badly on my right hip on my bottics check. I have to keep my foot elevated to reduce swelling also. My foot is twitching as I thing I might have burnt my neves too.
Just not a good thing.
To make a long story short I will not be able to work for awhile & have to go to a burn center in the next town over from me. I do have insurance thank goodness.
This isn't cool at all as I just went through a divorce back the end of January. So I am praying that the Lord will provide my needed funds to raise 2 kids & be able to pay my monthly bills. I am on pain meds to control the major pain I am feeling.

Hello My Sweet Friend Donna,

Thank you very much Hon for your comments. I was more than happy to put a forum up about Kathy a soon as I heard about what had happened to her. This is such a terrible tragedy, and to have kids to take care of on top of it all is not easy.

I am happy to report that there have been people that have sent in donations already for Kathy. That is really AWESOME, and I thank all those that are helping her out!

I am sorry Donna that something was not done sooner, unfortunately I had just found out last night. I am a little surprised that someone else didn't start a forum to help her or at least ask for prayers for her. But as I always say, "Better late than never at all!" So, keep those pryaers coming Hon...I know Kathy really appreciates everyones concern and prayers for her.

Marilyn I am very touched to know my Adland friends care so deeply for me and my kids. I appreciate each & every forum that is going up on my behalf. I am glad to be a part of such a wonderful community. I feel so at home right here online & what a AWESOME feeling it is to know that God Is right here in the midst of it all. It is never to late to lift a friend in prayer.
UPDATE on my Burn center appointment today for all of you:
I will be off work for at the least yet another 3-4 weeks. I see light at the end of the tunnel. But I am sure these 3-4 weeks are going to drag as I am alwasy busy multi tasking never seems to be a dull moment & yet to find out my ankle is also severely sprained knocks me down even more to have to stay down. So I guess I will figure out a way to sit right in this little compouter chair & make a way to keep my foot up up up..

Yes, we all love and care about you Kathy, and are praying for you to heal quickly. Thanks so much for the update from your appointment today. Another 3 to 4 weeks huh? Wow. Just remember to keep the faith, God is with you and everything will be fine!
