I received this through an email from my sister this morning.  I have seen this before, but had forgotten.  I wanted to share this with you all       

America the Beautiful

Some of you may be wondering what Judge Roy Moore has been doing since he was removed from the bench for refusing to remove the Ten Commandments from his courtroom wall. Please read the poem he wrote. It's below his picture.

The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama Judge Moore
was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom
foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to
strip his right to practice law in Alabama The judge's poem sums it up quite
well

America the Beautiful,

America the Beautiful or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;  I'm glad they'll never see
Babies piled in dumpsters, Abortion on demand.

Oh, sweet land of liberty; your house is on the sand.
Our children wander aimlessly  poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge their lusts,  when God has said abstain.  

From sea to shining sea, our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love  and a need to always pray.

We've kept God in our temples, how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool, and Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government  that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges; who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer  in a well deserved tomb;
But brave enough to kill a baby  before he leaves the womb.
You think that God's not angry, that our land's a moral slum?

How much longer will He wait before His judgment comes?
How are we to face our God,  from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do, but stem this evil tide?
If we who are His children,  will humbly turn and pray;

Seek His holy face  and mend our evil way:
Then God will hear from Heaven;  and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land and those who live within.

But, America the Beautiful, if you don't - then you will see, 
A sad but Holy God  withdraw His hand from Thee.

This says it all. May we all forward this message and offer
our prayers for Judge Moore to be blessed and for America
to wake up and realize what we need to do to keep
OUR America Beautiful.

Pass this on and let's lift Judge Moore up in prayer.
He has stood firm and needs our support.

I will pass this on and also pray for this same courage to reside in our other elected and appointed officials and for our church leaders to take a more visible stand for the establishment of the Kingdom of God in the earth. Man is on a destructive path because he deny that we are God's creation and has sought to keep the expression of faith in God out of every public enity. The commission of Beliver's is to make sure that all the world know of the existance and power of God instead of focusing on our differences we need to focus more on our faith and give our differences to God to handle. We are the Salt and Light of the earth let us not lose what has been given to us but rather use it for Glory of God. Let's pray a safe return of our Troops every where.

Thanks for the Poem by Judge Moore Bj, i remember that case and i often remember when Jesus was talking to leaders in the Lords temple as a 12 year old and having them in awe by his teachings, Ever since then standing on principle or standing on my "Rock" which the Apostle Paul who strived to be perfect in Jesus has always had its draw backs by people who just dont get it sometimes. Still i Press on, why? I sent a scripture to a friend today and would like to share that with you , and to answer that, as it is on my heart every single day, " He showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humble with your God. Micah 6:8.  Please Enjoy the weekend. God_bless

 Thank you for a very well written comment. You are so right. And it is really ashame that our Nation, our government will undo all the things our Nation was founded on. Our children have no future if this is kept up.

God is now, God is our future, we are Gods people, and they want to take away our rights to pray and stand together for God in our government, our schools.  What's next, take away our churches?  I worry for my grandchildren everyday, what will they have to face in this Godless Nation that's being created.
