Alot is done for the children when this occurrs some good some bad! What about the parents? They are shuffled aside and ignored! Reminds me of alcoholics prior to A.A. evolving they were strapped to a bed and fed sedatives!

 it is somewhat based like A.A. but it doesn't leave people standing at a turning point! And it's hardly known at all!

I think that's the saddest part of all! Alot of people say oh forget about the kids, (they use the word it) but when posed the question they all say they couldn't imagine having to go through something like that! If you truely publish things then publish this for all the people with broken hearts and more who lost there children unwillingly so they might know their not alone and have a place to go! Thank you!

   Thanks for bringing this to everybody's attention. Child abuse is a very serious problem all around the world. There is a facet of this crises that is often ignored by the government as well as by most people.

   Mental illness plays a big role in child abuse. Also, it is something that is passed on from one generation to the next. People who abuse children have more often than not been abused themselves. There are many types of mental disorders that are complicit in the child abuse syndrome and if people with these disorders could be diagnosed and treated properly, child abuse could be all but eliminated in the civilized world.

   Our entire system of health care needs to be restructured so it includes an integrated treatment program for mental ,as well as physical disorders. As long as mental health continues to be ignored, physical health will be threatened.

    Please support your local mental health agencies and write to your political leaders and ask them to sponser bills promoting mental health.
