Thank you so much for this. This is what real friends do for each other. I appreciate it so much. I'll bet you never knew that I had Grey Cabbage growing on my face did you? It is funny how it happened. I started out with a Goatee. Shirley wasn't that pleased with it, but she allowed it. One day she was looking at it and said that it did not look quite right. She than said that it would look better if I let my moustache grow and meet with the goatee. So, I got what I wanted in the first place without really trying. By the way, I have added a web-page to my profile as well.
For those of you that know and for those that might not know as yet, Shirley did an excellent job at the E.I.A. Awards Show in Nashville, Tennessee. For two or three weeks prior to Nashville it was pull and tug with her band. They did not like the way she sang Tennessee Waltz and had her practice in a different key. When it was finally time for Shirley Caron's Bound For Glory Band to perform Mister Cliff Ayres asked her what song she would be singing. She responded, "I will be singing "Tennessee Waltz", than turned towards her band and finished "My Way!!" She sang it in the key that she wanted to, half way through the song I turned towards Mike Kelly, one of the judges and asked how he liked it. He said that she sounded 100% better than she ever had and when she finished on a high note and held the note for several bars I heard him say "WOW!!!!" I am so very proud of her and Thomas, I am proud of you as well. There are those that feel that we each need lots of friends to keep us happy. Actually one true friend such as you makes up for so many would be friends. Those that do for others without expecting anything in return are truly friends, and I applaud you for that. Never change, my friend because you are walking in the path og GOD!!
