	Im feeling Generious today are you? Lets see what the Bible says about it shall we? Short application but sweet! 1.) Read 2 Corinthians 8:1-7. What would be neccessary for someone in extreme poverty to " well up in rich generosity"? What steps would enable You to become more generious in your giving? 2.) According to 2 Corinthians 9: 6-11 what will be the joys of generosty? 3.) How are you making your decisions about your giving? Do you see your giving as being generious? What sacrifices would you have to make to be more generous?

	Hello Thomas, These kind of questions make me want to preach but instead I'll be kind and share the Word on the greastest giver God. He gave His Word He gave His Love He gave His Grace He gave His Mercy He gave His Son He gave His Holy Spirit He gave His Faith He gave His Promises and etc.,so the giving of money is only a small part of the character of christians.But we will never give money correctly until we surrender all honor and glory to Him. 	Preach it Eugine! Thats what im talking about!! You donthave to sound preachy as everyone would think, just what ever it is right at the given time in life when it presents itself to you, then its your turn to step up to the plate and do the will of God my friend, see you wont have to sound so preachy to anyone, i have mentioned this before. The word "Preachy" to others means rediculas in a funny way, but to us , thats what God wants us to hear. Ever tell your kids to obey? Ever hear them gripe? its the same thing. The only way to learn is to utilize the Word for our benifit and live it out, and in doing so your walking with God my friend. Thank you for the awesome words of your reply. Enjoy your day..

	Hello Thomas, You have a wonderful forum going here. In regards to these texts I think we sometimes hesitate to give generously, because we are worried that there might not be enough left over. I know that I have been quilty of that. That reflects a lack of faith on my part. 2 Corinthians 8:7 says "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under complulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." So these verses remind me to have the right attitude because in the end that is more important than the amount we give. Blessings, Leonard
