Hello Adland family, Some more practicles for you. After doing a study on the heart this week, why would you say that our hearts need continiual maintenance? Look closely at 1 Timothy 1:5-7. 2.) What is implied in this phrase " wandered away from...a pure heart? 3.) Describe how this process of wandering away from purity of heart might happen in someones life. Give some steps that might be involved.  4.) What are three things you can regularly do to guard against this "wandering" in your own life?

Sin causes an unpure heart, we must submit to god everything we are, including our heart and its desires.  If we are walking with Jesus we must be purified, and allow him to take over to get the wickedness out of our hearts and minds.  This is why we are to always pray in the spirit as to have a constant connection to god so temptation does not take hold into our lives.

You know Elise , you are most certently welcome here at any one of my forums, you maybe new here but you have a good heart in showing more than just advertising. I think you will go a long way here at Adlandpro and anywhere else for that matter. I really appretiate your comments and your remarks as to what God has done to your life.
