Yes it really is the most ideal Marketing Strategy when you decide to start building an opt in e-mail list. In any kind of business, marketing is such an important tool in the growth and development of a business or any kind of financial venture. For this reason alone, even with the technology that covers online business’s, it needs highly revolutionized and very effective marketing strategies implemented in order to boost your productivity and sales.
Basically, since the advent of the Internet, people started to flock to this new medium of Information Technology (IT) without even knowing its fundamental principles, how it works, things that are needed to survive in it, etc. Many people literally bombarded the Internet, thinking that life would be a lot easier if they could simply invest in an online business model, and the copycat revolution began
Indeed, it is a well-known fact that you can find money online, but only for those who know their way around and employ the best marketing strategies there is available, and equip themselves with the best tools to achieve them.
What people do not know is that online marketing does not have to be very complicated. Basically, opt in lists are lists of email addresses of customers with their consent. This means that after the customer had closed the transaction on your particular web site, there is an option on whether or not they wish to subscribe to the mailing list of the online business for any future promotions, newsletters, or campaigns that they would like to be informed of.
And because it is an option, the customers are not compelled to provide their email addresses to the web site. Plus, the web site owners will not be accused of spamming because emails that will be sent to the customers have the consent of the customer.
Creating an opt in list can be very beneficial to your site. In fact, it has been proven that in the two-step concept of selling, follow-ups are important to sustain the interest of the consumers. The other step is to obtain the interest of the buyer within them, you know the one, it’s within us all, where your customers get that uncontrollable urge to buy your product or service, because they see it benefiting them.
Hence, in order to sustain the interest of your buying public, it is best to create an opt in list so that you can always give your buyers the chance to remember your products, your business, and your services, in which they have been satisfied with.

If Jo has a product or service selling for only $7, and only 1% of his total list buys that one product, then it potentially makes him a staggering $7,000 with only one mailing. It’s all in the numbers and the Law of Averages. Now imagine having only 10 products, individually again selling for a low price to those many thousands of happy customers, can you now see the true value of a large opt in list and why it is so important to build one, by effectively collecting those opt in e-mail addresses from your visitors or contacts at every opportunity. Over time many of your opt in subscribers will indeed buy more than one product, and the figures used above are only based on a mere 1% conversion rate, which is very achievable over the longer period
Boiled down, opt in lists are not just ordinary mailing lists. An opt in mailing list is the very core of any successful online business’s existence and potential survival. That is why for people who value their business as an ongoing concern, also extend the same value to their opt in list, and therefore utilizing the many ways there are to increase it. No wonder that most experts regard building your opt in list as one of the best Marketing Strategies you could use online.
