Ojeez is a social network that has been designed and created with the purpose of providing the entrepreneurial, work-at-home professional and small business owner a destination on the Internet where they can gain easy access to specialized tools and services.
So What About Ojeez?
Two young entrepreneurs began discussing the need for a site like Ojeez a little over a year ago. It began as all companies do, as a concept that grew into a vision and then evolved into a passion. Just like some of the top social networking destinations on the Internet, Ojeez has been designed with all of the best communication technologies that the web has to offer, but unlike those other companies our site was intended to cater to a more niche oriented group of people. Whether you are the aspiring entrepreneur, the small business owner or you have a great business idea that you need direction and assistance with; we can call these people the work-at-home professional work force. The U.S. Census Bureau states in a 2002 study that, “There were 23 million nonfarm U.S. businesses in 2002, employing 110.8 million persons and generating $22.6 trillion in business revenues. Firms with paid employees accounted for 5.5 million or 24.0 percent of these businesses and $21.8 trillion or 96.6 percent of their receipts”. This indicates that there is a tremendous domestic market, even a staggering global market that has been neglected by the Internet community. To our knowledge there is no one unified destination available for these professionals and businesses to congregate, share and utilize cutting-edge technology to help facilitate many aspects of their endeavors.
Besides the development of the extensive communication technologies we have also incorporated an entire virtual office complete with collaborative tools, audio & video conferencing capabilities, contact and customer relationship management systems and even the ability to develop your own e-commerce storefront, and all this for a few dollars per month. We realize that the true power of these social networking sites lay with the people that join them, so we thought of a way to reward and give back to the community that will help us to grow, hopefully to the pinnacle of success. We have done something that no other company in history has attempted to do and that is giving away a piece of our company to the public, specifically our members. The way it works is that you can join for free, refer everyone you know that can benefit from our services and as your network grows, so to does your percentage of ownership grow in relation to the size of your own network. Members on Myspace have built their networks into the millions; being diligent and utilizing the Internet pays off in more ways than you realize. Being a member doesn’t mean you have to pay a fee, rather it is free to use the site, some of the more advanced tools do require a small monthly fee though.
