Hi everyone,

We all know the lifeblood of any Marketer, is traffic and leads.
Now, there are many avenues to develop traffic, some good, some not so good, and there have been some slams against purchasing leads floating around here in Adland.
I don't mind to stand up and say, Leads Work!
If compared to things like traffic exchanges where many of you may be spending time, I can spend about 10 minutes to contact 10 times the number of visitors that I would get from a traffic exchange, and the viewer is of a much higher quality. A viewer from a traffic exchange is typically interested in one thing. Getting a credit so their ad will run. I know..I've been there. The ads carried very little interest for me and I rarely if ever clicked through.

Leads work.

They produce targeted traffic, because those who answer the ad you send are at least curious and interested in finding out more.

Simplistically, there are basically two issues with buying leads> the quality of the lead..how old is it, and the cost per lead.

I'm enjoying leads that cost me about $0.0003 per lead, or in other words 60,000 leads for $20.
The quality is pretty good, most of the leads being only about 2 weeks old, and I AM getting more traffic and better response for WAY less time invested.

Tim, I agree with you about the traffic exchanges. I participate in one on a very limited basis now due to finding out how little effect it has. even it it is drawing people to my site they aren't signing up or buying so what's the point? I'm not buying leads right now but I know it has to be a much better way to go. jeff

Hi Tim,

I have to agree with you that purchased leads work. I find that the most efficient way to run my business as I get good quality leads that are looking for what I have. I think the ones slamming them have just not had any luck with them, perhaps poor quality leads, not working them properly, or that their business is just plain of no interest to the ones they are calling. Whatever the reason I always prefer to try something myself rather than taking anyone's word for what does or doesn't work. I am personally have success with purchased leads and will continue to use them regardless of negative reaction from others here.

I agree that the lifeblood of your business is targeted traffic. The problem that I had in purchasing leads is finding a good reputable company that sells leads worth having. My question is how do you evaluate a leads company or program?There are so many on the web. I had a bad experience with a leads company that cause a big spam problem in the  network marketing company I was with. Because of this experience I am a little gun-shy about purchasing leads.
I have been doing the traffic exchanges and that is beginning to become old news for me. I have yet to see any sign-ups. Are there any benefits in traffic exchanges?
