I Just Got My Money Back
2/28/2007 2:19:36 AM
Hi everyone, I'm sure, if you're like me, you're always conscious about the cost of doing business online. The fact is, if you're spending more than you're making, you're losing money, and that's not wise! Some say that you have to prime the pump in order to get water, but as a farm-raised boy, I have to say, if you keep on pouring water down the pump, and your arm's falling off from pumping that handle, and yet no water's coming out of the pipe, maybe you should save your water before you run out and check to see if the pump is actually working! I'm always on the lookout for things that bring more business my way, that don't drain my wallet, and that actually have an affiliate program to offset my expenses. In most cases, when you need something, you can find it with an affiliate program, and can quickly get your money back if you tell people about it. The best kind of product to tell people about is one you use yourself! Why would YOU buy anything from someone who hasn't actually tried the product? It might be junk! Now, I just found a great new place to advertise free of charge that I was introduced to by a high profile Adlandpro member and very good friend. The upgraded membership gives far more benefits, and really is the way I recommend to go. It is an excellent resource, and also offers a very generous remuneration opportunity for paid members, which I am. I've found that it's plain stupid of me to join "free" programs, promote them, and get nothing in return. If I'm going to join something, I'm going to see if there's a PAID membership that I can make money with and go for that. Right now you can also become an executive member for more than 90% off, but that's not going to last long. I already got my membership money back, so everything else is gravy. The site is called YourAdvertisingForum and it's free to join, but if you really are a serious business person, not just someone who's wasting time and playing entrepeneur, you'll get the upgraded version, today. If you need any further resources to get the word out, go to my other thread at http://community.adlandpro.com/forums/thread/594567.aspx , where you'll learn how to really gain exposure all over the internet without pouring money down the drain. God bless, Dave

Hi Dave!  :-)

This is a wonderful post!  I have heard some very good things about YourAdvertisingForum.com!  :-)  One such claim is from one of ALP's own top dogs.... he claims that ClickBank's top affiliates advertise there!  Pretty Kool!

With this subject in mind....free advertising can be very profitable.  In fact, my top recruiter actually answered a free ad of my own some years ago.

However, one thing I always tell anyone that I am looking to bring into my business is that there WILL be advertising costs if they wish to succeed and make a full-time income from this business.  And more times than not - it will be more than what they pay for the product/service.

I also advise that if they don't have the EXTRA $$$$ set aside every month to advertise and promote - that they should reconsider getting into business.  Not to squash anyone's hopes & dreams here....but this is just the reality of doing business.  I want to help - not hurt people financially.

With that said......I would also like to mirror your sentiments on the importantance of consciously monitoring one's ad spending.  One ESSENTIAL way of doing so is by tracking your results so you can figure out your ROI.  If an ad isn't performing the way you hoped.....your wasting your hard earned $$$$!  The only way to know what ads are pulling and what ads are not is to track it by using some sort of Ad Tracker.

There are plenty available online.  One such free one is located @

Thanks for sharing this with everyone Dave!  You always seem to bring up awesome topics to discuss!  To the top!

~ Drummerboy Keep on thinking positive…..thank God for everything that’s good in your life……..and make it a great week!

Hello Dave

In for a penny, in for a pound as they used to say  before everything went metric! lol

On your recommendation, I have signed up and will look into upgrading when I can sort out how to get round the site.  Thanks for the tip

Hi Brian, Well said, my friend. I think people tend to forget when they go online that business is business, no matter where it is. You need to put something in to get something back out. That said, you CAN make money online without paying out any money IF you can figure it out and IF you have unlimited time to WORK promoting it and IF you find a business that you can get into without paying a fee. However, if you have unlimited time, you are either too broke to own a computer or you are already rich and do not need to be in business. However, the normal way of doing business is to do your research, pick your business, get set up, and start advertising, which costs money and, again, requires research to determine the best way to invest your advertising dollars. Incidently, the cost of getting into business in the online world is one of the cheapest parts of doing business! Ad tracking is definitely extremely important. You can get a good adtracker right here at Adlandpro. God bless, Dave
