THanks Aaron and Kathy,
I appreciate the work that you do for us all.
It is not until you find yourself involved in several businesses and communities that not only do the possibilities open up but the need for a system develops.
I have spent many late nights recently in an attempt to streamline my business efforts online.
There are things that we all need to do on a daily basis. There are contingency plans needed for vacation or just a weekend away to reduce that email pileup on return.
For folks like us in a community like Adland there is an obligation to stay in touch with friends. Folks approach us and we agree to be friends and then NOTHING. This shouldn't happen because it's not why we are here.
I for one am going to set aside ONE DAY PER MONTH to contact people who are on my list of Adland friends and have drifted away into obscurity. It's a two way thing, so no reply for two times and the ball is firmly back in their court. I aim to have active friends, not just pay lip servioce.
I realised that when I joined some of the team efforts being promoted here that I had a commitment. I soon found, however, that having joined a programme I had then to join list programmes and rotators etc. SO, I have taken time out to increase my efficiency and find a way of supporting those who join later.
If anyone knows a good way of online time-management practice please let me know because this is MY YEAR and I intend that it will benefit many others too.
Hold on to these shirt-tails, I'm motoring.
Bless you all
Roger
