Just been browsing around the net doing some more reasearch on ALGOCO and have noticed this article from Dec 2005 where Bill Gates (heard of him?) said he'd like to offer his users a share in advertising revenue. This would be to try to encourage users to use MSN Search rather than Google. I suspect Bill Gates may have been interested in buying YouTube but was beaten by Google (boy that must hurt!). Here's the article: http://online.wsj.com/public/article/SB113435260241219853-o_bxQIb0Tesryll_Bt9fq7qR0x4_20061212.html The thought I had was that if ALGOCO was to get to 10million members, it would then be unstoppable as it would almost certainly get to 100million members as it would have credibility and there would be some VERY big incomes created by some individuals (such as me and anyone else giving it some early effort ) creating real momentum. So, would Microsoft be interested in buying ALGOCO? I think so. Rather than spend millions on developing it's own software and trying to build it's base that route, if AGLOCO can achieve the top 50 websites in the world, then I'm sure Bill Gates would be interested (along with many other parties too). Food for thought.
