Hi Leanne, I am sure all of those helpful hints will be really appreciated! Thank you for posting them. There is also a way to at least nearly double (if not double) your typing speed while greatly reducing the errors you make and reducing the distance your fingers travel by around 16 times! (That is NOT a mere 16 percent, it is 16 TIMES less finger travel to type the exact same amount of information!) Now of course, there is a catch! You have to learn a new keyboard layout. And while it is a new layout, the average typist can master it in a about a month. It is called the DVORAK keyboard. I submit that anyone who does much typing at all is really doing themselves a disservice by not learning and using it. (Aside from greatly increasing your typing speed and decreasing your errors, think how 16 times less finger movement will cut down on getting carpel tunnel syndrom.) You probably do not have to buy a new keyboard to do it as many computers already have the software for it installed and either getting new keycaps or stickers to put on top of the keys gets the physical keyboard change accomplished. ----------------- Introducing the Dvorak Keyboard The Dvorak keyboard layout is a control panel option on almost every current computer.
