Do you regret posting a great or bad feedback?
2/13/2007 4:42:13 PM
If you haven't noticed you can actually edit the feedback you gave.

This is great for those that used the feedback to advertise their
business, had a lot of typos or just plainly changed their mind.

Just click the Feedback link down to the left, then click My Votes.
Find the feedback you want to edit and click update.

Yes, you can change the 5 to a 10 if you want.. ;)

Hi Roger,

I am not a great fan of the rating system - it is open to abuse.

Ii work on the principal that a bad rating can make someone look very bad in the eyes of the community - especially new comers.  So if I dont feel like giving someone at least a 10,  I'm better off not posting any rating.   They are not a measure of anyone's business capacity or integrity.

These are seen as an indicator of many things  including your business capability or integrity.- but can be posted just because someone is in a bad mood with you or someone who doesnt know you but doesnt like the colour of your hair!  - even though they dont do business with you.

So - my conclusion - if you cant say anything nice - dont say anything at all.  And if you have said something not so nice - go back and up it to a 10 - unless you have had a bad BUSINESS  experience with that person.  Then and only then could it be legitimate.

Love
Jenny

Hi Roger,

Thanks for the post.

Jenny,

I agree 100% with you.

I just had someone who has been spamming my Personal Messages for 7 months now, give me a 4 and the reason was "Not To Socially"! This person does not know me! I think I handled it well in my response! lol

Hi Jenny,

I'm not necessarily a fan, but I now know I can edit it. ;)

I could post a personal comment, but it would be to easy
to recognize the person even if i anonymized it, so I won't.

Hi Jerilyn,

I read the feedback and your answer. Good one.
Did you consider returning the favor? ;)
