My favorite Valentine's story had to do with the fact that my
father sent me a Valentine card all on his own without my mom's
influence.  It was about ten years ago and it had a picture of a
white french poodle pup on the front of it.  The verse was just
a simple "I love you" and Love, Dad in the signature.  That little
gesture meant more to me than I can ever tell.  My dad had never
done anything like that before nor since!

I belive mine was when my husband paid at the Raddison a room for all day and night.And when I walked through the door a dozen of roses on the table ,chocolates,a beautiful card,balloons,and a bottle of champaign on ice.The first thing he said was "Honey I love you with all mty heart and nothing can ever come between us.And after 15 years of marriage (he got on his knees and ask me to marry him all over again)and placed a beautidul heart shaped diamond ring on my right hand finger.We then proceded to enjoy each others company.

                                               

15 years ago, I was corresponding with the man I would marry. In fact, we met through the mail thanks to a Christian dating service called Church of Many Mansions out of Van Nuys ,Ca. It was Valentines' Day when Dave proposed to me over the phone. We married on June 6, 1992 after a month's visit. He took a greyhound bus trip from Wyoming to Pennsyvania just to marry me, then take me back to Wyoming.-Linda
