I'd appreciate your prayers that my daughter would know the direction to go next fall. She doesn't sense any desire to do anything after she graduates this year. I pray God shows her what to do.

Prayers be with you. It is hard for kids to get out of high school and make a decision for their lives with very little life experiences.... The need for college and growth, experiences is so great! The Military is also a good option for many kids, as it will help them pay for a college education later, give them discipline and experiences... Try to go over all the options possible. It helps if they work while still in high school. Life is harsh without a good education or some type of job training. Good luck ! And kids don't always listen to parents, but also see if she can have career counseling at school. Linda

I will definitely put your daughter in my prayers. I think that many people who are in school have difficulty in this area. The direction is made easier once someone taps into their passion. It makes life so much more enjoyable when you do what you love. Maybe try asking her some good thought provoking questions to get her to tap into what inspires her and what is in her heart. Also it is so important to be open because often the answers come to us be we are not open to them and then wonder why God did not answer our prayers. He did we just were not receptive.
