Hi everyone...Thought I would inform you of this important issue. MANY of us do NOT get enough vitamin D3 (the active form of vitamin D) in our diets or vitamins. MOST Vitamin D3 in out ancestors (who spent a lot of time outdoors WITHOUT sunscreen) didn't have to worry about it because the sun exposure CREATES Vitamin D3 in our bodies.
Well, with the liberal use of sunscreen nowadays and the preaching to us of sun protection, a lot of us are deficient in Vitamin D3. Therefore, make sure your vitamin that you take (and you should be taking a good one) has enough D3 (NOT D2).
Vitamin D3 not only helps prevent osteoporosis, but more and more research is showing that ample of levels of D3 prevents many types of CANCER as well.
