I want to ask you this. There have been certain programs in the past that were designed to help you get paid from click through traffic. Some programs like 'Click My Adsense', Click Buddies, etc ... were sites that you could join, place your 'Adsense' page and have other member surf to all members pages and click a link on each members' pages.

This has been repeatedly said to be unethical. Reason: the ad is to get buyers but you click with no intent of buying anything, just taking the advertiser's money.

So, if a new program comes along and offers a new toolbar that basically does the same thing saying you take back ownership of the internet, that you will earn money by your surfing habits, using the search feature in the toolbar and clicking ad links in that bar would this be ethical or unethical?

I am looking for all comments.

If you are causing the other guy's expense to increase when you have no intention of buying the product or service they offer, I think that is unethical. That is just my opinion. Thanks and Merry Christmas. John

I would have to agree with John, if indeed the other guy was getting hit with expenses and my intentions weren't geared toward making a puchase.

I think AdSense has in it's rules, you can't click your adds or have others click adds just for profit.(my memory).

I have found in my surfing experinces I am clicking to get views to my site. Others are presummably doing the same. Although I will read through a site that peaks my interest, rarely will I opt in. I'm beginning to wonder just how ethical surfing in general is. I know it serves a purpose on the internet and many have had success with it. Any claims that any set amount of results and be attained are at best a strech if not unethacial
