Say something nice to someone you know here at adland
12/19/2006 3:33:01 PM

We just wanted to drop by and start a little thread on one of our Angles of adlands forums to help him get his message out to you all that we all need to take the time every day to do or say something nice for your friends here at adland

We are all so busy trying to chase the omighty dollar that we forget what really matters in life and tell the people we know and like  something nice that you really like about them

This is just a quick reminder to you all to just stop and pick anyone of your adland friends and tell us what you like about them or why they are your special friend and tell us all ..

I hope that you all can find someone to say something nice about and can pick just one because I know how hard it is and we never want to make anyone feel excluded but we can pick one every day so pick one for today and one for tommorow and so on and so on and when you run out of people to say anything nice about god forbid you can start at the top all over again.

We can never say to many nice things to anyone

So I leave it in your hands and lets make adland a better place for us all and bring back what the word community means .

thank you all for being who you are and we are wishing you all the best in the holiday season you are in our thoughts and prayers

Re: Say..... HAPPY NEW YEAR

Blessings

I have in my hand two boxes which

God gave me to hold.

He said, Put all your sorrows in the black,

And all your joys in the gold.

I heeded His words, and in the two boxes

Both my joys and sorrows I stored.

But though the gold became heavier each day,

The black was as light as before.

With curiosity I opened the black box.

I wanted to find out why.

And I saw, in the base of the box, a hole through which

My sorrows had fallen out.

I showed the hole to God and mused aloud,

I wonder where my sorrows could be.

He smiled a gentle smile at me.

My child there all here with me.

I asked, God, why give me the boxes,

why the gold, and the black with the hole?

My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings,

The black is for you to let go.

This is the year of the Open Door.

You will have Supernatural Wealth, Supernatural Health, & Supernatural Blessings.

May the Peace of Jesus Christ be with you throughout the coming year.

Lets start in 1st Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God. It is to be applied to our lives. How do we know the word is relevent? lets go to Hebrews 4:12-13 The word cuts like a scalpel, it is good to be cut because the scalpel cuts the "cancer" (sin) out. Onto interpretaion of the bible? THERE IS NO INTERPRETATION OF THE BIBLE. The Holy Spirit inspired the men who wrote the books of the Bible (The Holy Bible). Intellectual belief is not enough! 2 peter 1: 20-21 you still with me? we cannot go by feelings! Everyone must hold on to and follow the teachings of Jesus to be a true Disciple. "Sincerity does not equal truth." Religious people can be wrong!. Matthew 15:1-9 Do not go by traditions or creeds. Worship by traditions (which supersede the word of God) is worship in vain. Next we move on to 1 Timothy 4:16 Please watch your life and docterne closely- they are inseparable. Which is more important, life or doctrine? NEITHER! -an airplane with only one wing cannot fly?. Why is it so important to learn and teach and to live the right doctrine? To Save yourself and those who hear you!!!!. Two more points and then you can go or stay with a reply?? Acts 17: 10-12 You must check what religious leaders say! Your challenge: read and study the Bible every day! and why we study and read the bible because its the word that will judge us (Gods Word baby)! One thing you got to ask yourself? Will i live by the Bible or my feelings, traditions, needs, etc.? We need the old testiment so we can understand the new testiment and live Like Jesus did! WORD! I am posting this in good Faith because i believe that we all should live and act accordingly with ones freedom of speech. A Brother In Christ. San Diego Church of Christ.

Seasons! I have visited, but never lived, in a place where there is only one season. I do not think I would really like that very much. It is nice, if you live in a climate where the winters are desperately cold, to dream of perpetual warmth. Or, if most of your season faces blistering heat, it is nice to think of cool breezes. Still, I would miss the wonder of four seasons. I can't help but believe that God gave the best of creation to those who enjoy all four of the created seasons. I have a hard time trying to choose which one is my favorite season. In the winter, I look forward toward the spring. In the heat of summer, I wait for the fall. One might think I could limit my favorites to spring and fall, but that is not really true. I love the winter in the mountains when the leaves are gone and the rocks and crags stand out in clear relief. There is something majestic that does not show itself when the green leaves cover the view. And summer, when would you swim or spend a day at the beach without summer? God made them all and I love them! God made them all and I love them! Seems to me that God may have also placed seasons in our lives to remind us of life itself. Spring is the season of beginnings. Summer is the time for growth. Fall is the time of radiant beauty with a hint of coming winter. Winter is waiting for the resurrection that the warmth of spring brings. It sounds biblical, does it not? I find it helpful to think in these terms. At no time is it more comforting than when I stand in grief beside a loved one's grave. Like the barren trees of winter, there is no sign of that which I viewed in the radiance of life, but there is the faith that, as certainly as the trees will leaf out and flowers will bloom in spring, this one whom I love and miss will find new life in the blazing glory of God's greatest spring, the resurrection! Solomon wrote, "There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven" (Ecclesiastes 3:1). And again, "He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart ...." (Ecclesiastes 3:11). I like to think the seasons are just this way. Especially the part where He "set eternity in their heart." I love the blaze of colors in our East Texas fall and I grieve the loss when the last leaf has left the tree. But ... I also know that though the winter is upon us, spring is coming and the bitter chill and the barren land -- and lives -- will soon be filled with warmth, growth, and joy.! Love You Guys. Period!
