You eat, but do not have enough;... you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm, and he who earns wages, eans wages to put into a bag with holes. - Haggai 1:6

Gad has made us in His own image and for His Glory.  We can never find true joy until we obey Christ's admonition to seek "first the kingdom of God, and His righteouness" - Only then will we sow and reap abundantly, and eat and truly be filled. 

Selfish gratification will lead to spiritual stagnation.
