By now, most people know that
I've been trying to raise funds for my son. I'll be the first to admit, when it comes to fundraisers, I have limited experience. My experience is that of a big-city working mom; post the gift brochure in the break room, and tell people to buy stuff from my kid.
You really can't hold a bake sale on the Internet.
Jerimiah, my boy, has written and sent out, and I've sent out,
a letter asking for contributions. Well, I got to thinking... I may not be able to hold a bake sale online, but I can have a fundraising sale.
It ocurred to me that
I have a Cafe Press shop, I could devote to this. So... I am spending my weekend re-building my shop, removing all old items, and replacing them with brand new stuff! The whole shop is for Jerimiah. All profits from the sale of everything and anything in my shop will go to send Jerimiah, as a
Student Ambassador for the United States, with the
People to People Program, to France, Italy and Greece. That is how he plans to spend his summer vacation.
If you'd like to spend some time, shopping for a good cause, head over to
TLC Promotions Gallery of Gifts.
Please help Jerimiah participate in this awesome opportunity.
