Let me introduce the most awesome group of team mates anyone could ever have! Not only are they my very good friends, but I also have the pleasure of working with them to bring this forum to all of you, each and every week;

3. Have a good-hearted nature, and shows it through all that they do.

Here is DIANE'S bio;

First off I want to say that I am honored and humbled by all of this. There are so many men and women who deserve this distinction, why me I will never understand.

I have been asked to write a bio about myself wow that is going to be difficult but I will try.

I tell many people that I was hatched, the. reason being I was adopted and have never known my biological Parents. I do know I was born (hatched) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on March 6, 1951.

My growing up years while not always pleasant gave me a chance to move to different countries primarily England and Ireland…I spent most of my formative years dividing my time between the two countries, spending 6 month in one school in Ireland and the other 6 months in England…you might say I never really knew where I was.

My fondest and best memory of my childhood was my grand father; his gentle ways buffered me from the harshness of my life and gave me some balance. I came back to Canada when I was 12 moving from Toronto to a small town Brampton. I spent the next few years being far ahead of my peers on many subjects and way behind on others…It was a confusing time, but typical me I survived.

I left home at a very young age ill prepared for the world but managing to learn and grow not easily, but I will say it shaped my life to who and what I am today. I lived during those glorious years of the sixties and yes I was and still am a hippie...I have a social conscience, I am a humanist and yes I loved that era. I lived a life as a wanderer, experienced so many things from Woodstock to you name it….we were as children so idealistic wanting peace and believed that love would conquer all. I will not tell you how many times I have been married…but I will say that I traveled .lived in Finland, traveled Europe, experienced cultures and food and art, always learning and growing, again typical me...lol

I was blessed to help create 2 beautiful children, Tara and Sylvia and I have this wonderful grandson, Patrick who is now 4 yrs old. I have spent many years being their mom which is as it should be and they are now living their lives as adults. I think I have given them the sense of exploring and to live life with joy at least that is my hope and dream.

Nowadays I am as like so many of you learning about this virtual world, I have had to learn the hard way again, typical me, but I am stubborn and will learn. I have met the greatest people from around the world each offering something from friendship, advice to just sharing ideas. When I am not on the net, I advocate for those who are head injured and have also helped and this may sound strange, but helped men who are in abusive relationships.

I guess when you come right down to it I love life and the joy and wonder of it all.
