Let me introduce the most awesome group of team mates anyone could ever have! Not only are they my very good friends, but I also have the pleasure of working with them to bring this forum to all of you, each and every week;

Here is LLOYD'S bio;

My name is Lloyd Cope and it is indeed an honor to be featured in the Parade of Stars forum. I've been a member of AdlandPro since November, 2004. 

I was born in Birmingham, England and moved to the United States at the age of 17 months. My mother and father, both Jamaican born, settled in the small historic city of Burlington, New Jersey.

Here is a partial list of some of the prominent historical figures that made Burlington their home. 

Benjamin Franklin. James Lawrence. Oliver Cromwell, James Fenimore Cooper, William R. Allen, William J. Allinson, James H. Birch, Joseph Bloomfield, Elias Boudinot, Susan Bradford, Marguerite V. Burton, Henry C. Carey, and Cyrus Bustill.

I attended elementary, middle and high schools in the Burlington City School District.  I went on to receive AA degree in Childhood Education from Burlington County College in Pemberton, New Jersey and a BA degree in Mass Communications from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

After graduating from Rutgers University, I moved to Los Angeles taking a job with the Transamerica Occidental company.  But after 8 years it was time to come back to the east coast.  There's just something about going through all 4 of the weather seasons.  I kind of like the changing of the seasons.

I've been in internet marketing since 1998.  At this time I am fortunate enough to work from home. I'm always looking to share marketing tips and ideas and it's an honor to have so many  friends here at AdlandPro.

I love to travel and meet people from different cultures.  I've been to most of the 50 states in the USA.  I've spent time in Canada. (Ontario, Montreal, and Toronto) and Europe (Germany and England) . My favorite places are in the Carribean, South and Central America.  One of these days I'd might post the pictures of me in the Panamanian rain forest.  The little tree monkies are so cute, but the snakes leave little to be desired. (lol)

Anyone familiar with me know that I have been concerned about the situation in Darfur for some time. I've even gone as far as sending a post card to President Bush earlier this year urging him to support a stronger multi-national force to protect the civilians of Darfur. I urged him to prevent another Rwandan type genocide under his watch.

For those not familiar with the Darfur situation, here it is in a nutshell. 

The Darfur conflict is an ongoing armed conflict in the Darfur region of western Sudan, mainly between the Janjaweed, a militia group recruited from local Baggara tribes, and the non-Baggara people (mostly land-tilling tribes) of the region. The Sudanese government, while publicly denying that it supports the Janjaweed, has provided arms and assistance and has participated in joint attacks with the group, systematically targeting the Fur, Zaghawa, and Massaleit ethnic groups in Darfur.

The Darfur conflict erupted in early 2003. Fighting among various factions has killed hundreds of thousands of people and displaced more than 2 million, most escaping to larger towns where they stay in camps for "internally displaced people," and some crossing the border into Chad, where they live in refugee camps, straining local resources. Attacks on civilians during the conflict have been brutal and include burning homes, killing and rape.

These facts motivates me to spread the word about this situation.  I know that one individual can't put an end to this tradegy, but working as a team we might be able to alleviate some of the pain and suffering.  Feel free to contact me if you want to know how you can help or visit my forum for updates on the situation in Darfur.

Just think about this. If every member of the U.S. House and Senate receive 100 letters saying we have to do something about Darfur, we can close this tragic chapter in African history.  Please help before it's too late!
