I am organizing a fund raising drive to provide 3 hard working high school students one which is my daughter Molly, she is 14, with a once in a life time educational opportunity of exploration throughout Europe in the summer of 2007. THese 3 deserving children did so well in school that they were invited to join the people to people student Ambassador program (http://www.studentambassadors.com Since it's founding in 1956 by President D.Eisenhower People to People has celebrated 50 years of Introducing student delegates to an amazing journey that rewards them with lasting friendships from their local delegation and destinations around the globe. This respected group assembles 30 to 40 student Ambassadors from all over the country to experience 20 days of activities while earning academic credits and making life long friends. Through exposure to new cultures the student Ambassadors come back with a broader, more enlightened perspective of the world while gaining confidence and leadership abilities as well a greater cultureal understanding and world awareness. All these things will add to their growth as humans and potential as future business leaders. They will come home forever changed. Thank you for all of your help with this fundraising.

For those of you who don't know, my son, Jerimiah, was bestowed this same honor. He is one of the three kids, along with Molly.

Jerimiah has also just received a certificate for the National Honor Roll. Not bad for a boy from Nucla, Colorado. ;-)

You know, if everyone here at Adland, donated just one dollar ($1), these kids would have all the money they need.

  Jerimiah is going to Europe! We got the call, last night, informing him that he had been chosen. So... he will be spending 20 days in Europe during the summer of 2007!

Jeri is now a Student Ambassador, representing Nucla High School and the United States. This is an incredible honor and an awesome experience for him. Jeff and I are so proud of him!

He will be traveling to France, Italy and Greece. He will spend a few days living with a French family, repell down fortress walls, and fuel his passion for art. He is going to have a blast, and be learning all the while. The cultural experience alone will be awesome.

Can you tell that I am excited? LOL
