Dear Friends,

As you know, Shirley has had a very difficult year healthwise.  For a little while we thought we would lose her, as she was having a battle with blood clots.  She also has other health issues.  Like many of us, Shirley is too young to qualify for Medicare and has no insurance.  I know that one too well.  Don't qualify for Medicare, but make $1 dollar over the requirement for Medicaid.  It leaves you high and dry. 

The challenge:  Mike and Shirley need to go to Nashville on October 26th to represent artists and Shirley will also be receiving an award.

I understand that a lot of the problem is that paypal is not available for many to make contributions.  Therefore, I will put up my paypal account and mail or wire the money to Mike and Shirley, taking into account time constraints.

Please send your donations to paypal at luellamay@bellsouth.net.  Please make a notation "Mike and Shirley's trip to Nashville," and I will make sure that they receive the money.

  God Bless you for helping.  I have not been able to do much lately because I have the Flu BIG TIME.  I have tried to sleep but I can't.  I just read Shirley's new Forum Bird Flu And you.  Maybe I've got it.  To the left of me is a Cockateil.  Behind me are two Parakeets.  Yup, I've got the Bird Flu.  Maybe I can Fly to Nashville.  I couldn't find this forum in my mail.  I had to come into your profile and find it that way.  Well, we have gotten a little help and two of my clients are suppose to be mailing me their dues.  One of our clients (The one that I told you about that is suppose to be working for us) told us not to buy our bus tickets because she is going to take us down there.  She has not stood by her word yet, and I have a feeling that we will still need to get the bus tickets at the very last minute.  I don't know why with everything that we have done for people that they keep treating us this way.  I don't belong in business because I get hurt too easy.  You know, by you offering your PayPal account, people don't have to go broke to help.  One Dollar, two, it doesn't matter.  We plan on making sandwiches for the trip.  Shirley will be singing.  If you have a tape recorder, you could record her and put it in TC4Women for all to hear.  we have one, that we will bring, but I'm not sure how to tape with it.  Well, my head is completely stuffed up, my head is pounding, and my whole body aches, and cough drops don't do the trick, so I'm going to go for now
