Hello friends,
At this moment I am sitting at the table in my RV - a Mobile Suites 5th Wheel - at the Rippling Waters Campground in Romance, West Virginia. We stopped here this morning about 4:30 am after driving all night from Michigan We'll be leaving here tonight at midnight to continue our trip to North Carolina.
I had a profound experience of inspiration here today.
Early this morning when we were looking for a place to get some sleep we saw the sign for Rippling Water Campground and decided to stop. It's about 4 miles off the highway down a long winding road so we were beginning to wonder if we made the right decision when we arrived and felt we had indeed made the right decision.
We saw a small pond with swans and a larger pond with pontoon boats and several camping areas. We settled into a site and went right to sleep.
When we woke up around lunch time we decided to take a walk around the park.
We discovered a beautiful and charming very small white chapel with a very tall steeple on the other side of the lake alongside an equally charming white gazebo.
When we arrived at the chapel I checked to see if the door was locked. It was not. Yay! I went in by myself while my husband went to sit in the gazebo with the dogs (my two little chihuahuas - http://www.LexieChihuahua.com).
The moment I walked in the chapel I felt a great sense of calm come over me. I sat on on one of the pews that were covered in red velvet. There was no sound and no one else was there. I just sat in silence and I began to say first to myself and then out loud...
I now release all resistance to receiving divine inspiration.
I now release all resistance to receiving divine inspiration.
I now release all resistance to receiving divine inspiration.
Then I added...
I choose to live in divine inspiration.
I choose to live in divine inspiration.
I choose to live in divine inspiration.
And finally...
I am grateful for divine inspiration.
I am grateful for divine inspiration.
I am grateful for divine inspiration.
Tears flowed and I felt a great feeling of inspiration.
That truly is how I want to live my life - in divine inspiration - following my divine guidance.
So I am eternally grateful for this brief encounter with a quiet place where I cold allow my thoughts to be heard and to realize true divine inspiration.
Do you have a quiet place where you clear your thoughts and truly open your heart to divine inspiration?
