Here is a little bit about my work.
I have been drawing ever since I can remember. It was and is something that I just loved to do. It took and still does take my mind off of the chaos that sometimes is around me. The more that I see in its completion the more I want to do. It excites me greatly. I began seeing what I could do and began to experiment with different ideas and control so that I could master the medium and tool that I was using. I challenged myself to rise just a little bit further every time I would do a piece so that I could reach its essence and combine my essence with it to be a complete piece. As you will notice there is alot of energy packed into each piece I do. As I had mentioned, that I challenge myself and this is what I continously do. An example of this is I mastered the pencil work so I figured that I could also get the same depth and detail useing colored pencil, which I did, but it didn't give that same satification that I thought it would, so I took the same concept toward paint and brush and it worked beautifully.
Detail is an amazing thing. You can actually take just a small piece of my art and stand back about 10 to 15ft. away and still see the detail in the piece, this was my goal and it has been accomplished nicely. To be able to pull the viewer into a piece. It's almost as many have told me, that when you are looking at a piece, you are actually anticipating for it to move. Its almost as if the piece (or picture) you are viewing is alive; in essence, it is.
The techniques that I use are several, but they are (no disrespect intended) mine as my gift from birth. The result of the piece is its magic and the journey that I take to get there is mine alone
