Hello my friends,
I have great news to tell you about my daughter Molly, you know she just turned 14 years old.Molly is in the 9th grade this year. She has even recieved The President's Education Award from President Bush. Molly recieved it for Educational Excellence , two years ago.
Molly is a perfect straight A student, Well I recieved a letter saying that:Heres what it says,
Dear Parent of Molly,
Molly is invited to travel and studyin FRANCE, ITALY AND GREECE in 2007.
Founded in 1956 by President D.Eisenhower, People to People is celebrating 50 years of International travel. We would like Molly to be a Sudent Ambassador. Student Ambassadors from 50 states will have journeied to more
than 40 countries on all seven continents through our programs.
Many of our alumni go on to assume leadership roles in their communities and state that their experiences set them apart during the competitive college admissions process.
Molly will join nearly 200,000 students who have traveled with People To People and will experience 20 days of rewarding and exciting activities in France, Italy and Greece while earning academic credit and making lifelong friends.
Through exposure to new cultures and the benefits of International travel, Molly will gain:
Confidence and leadership
Cultural understanding-
World awareness-
Friendship and memories-
So I have to go to a meeting in mid october but It is going to cost me 7,000 Dollars to send her, so with every breath in my body She will go,I will be doing fund raising with the group and Im sure car washes but I am goin to have to raise alot of it.
It is not till the summer time so I have all year to raise the money but I will be deligent and get all the resourses I can
So if any of my friends own a real business and want to sponser Molly keep her in your mind for the summer time.I have alot of resourses but 7,000 is alot.
I was told if any one donates money or sponsers Molly it is Tax deductible.So keep Molly in mind for the summer.Im sure Ill have to pay in payments for there reservation so who ever wants to help Molly down the road email me: simikathy@comcast.net
