            Changing perspectives of societal health, mental health in particular, is becoming more apparent.  Evidence of psychological and medical methods of treatment have been changed from a strictly psychopathological medical model to more holistic methods of treatment have become apparent (Lukoff, 1998).  However, great strides still must be made in identifying what is real in the face of weapons that can harm humans and mimic mental disorders, potentially subjecting millions to become psychiatrically misdiagnosed.  (more)
