IT'S TIME!! FOR THE BEST FORUM THAT HONORS MEMBERS OF THE ADLANDPRO COMMUNITY!!!
**ADLAND'S WEEKLY PARADE OF STARS** # 39
Hosted by Sparkle Tags
This forum is fun, exciting, and is a much needed addition to the AdlandPro community because we are featuring many great and caring people that may otherwise go unnoticed. That is why our forum is a little different than other ones here at Adland that honor members of our community
Our forum features a member of the AdlandPro community each week who is truly a bright and *SHINING STAR*. It is a person that may not necessarily be a "high-profile" person per say, but rather someone that is not only a great friend to many, but also has a good heart and truly cares about others.

Here is MICHAEL'S bio;
Hello Everybody,
My name is Michael James Caron. I am honored to be a member of AdlandPro Community and especially honored for being featured here. For those of you that don't know what I look like, I felt that I should give you an idea. I hope this helps.
Anyway, I was born (some people don't believe that), in the small village of East Taunton, Massachusetts. East Taunton is located four miles East of Taunton, Massachusetts which makes it convienient. I was the youngest of ten children. Actually, I understand that my mother had thirteen, but three were mis-carriages. They never told me exactly where I fit in. The youngest in age to me was my sister Irma who is six years older than I. I basically felt like an only child growing up, as there was nobody to play with, everyone was too busy for me and I was always in the way. When I was seven and all my permenant teeth came in, I was hit in the mouth by one of my brothers with a Four Iron. I was in the way again. This left the door wide open for ridicule throughout my first eight years of school. My father was French and was 4foot eleven and a half and my mother was Irish and 4foot eleven. My father would always refer to her as the little woman which was my first introduction to humor. Although they were wonderful people, they did have certain restrictions that I felt were unwarranted. We were raised as Catholics and I remember a time when my mother had said that everyone was born equal, except Blacks, Chinese, Germans, Jews, and non-Catholics. These were people that I was suppose to stay as far away from as possible. Whenever I had the chance, I would get to know people at my school that were Protestant, Baptist, Black (there was one), and all those that I was warned to stay away from. I found that people of all races and cultures as long as religious beliefs had good people and bad. I did not do that well in school, not because I was dumb, but rather that I questioned too many things. As an example, when I was attending school, the history books had a picture of the inventor of the Cotton Gin, showing him as a white man, but not given details of his race, just the fact that he had revolutionized the cotton industry with his invention. I was in High School at the time and when we were reading about Eli Whitney I raised my hand and asked the teacher what color he was. She was taken aback by the question and responded that he was White. I laughed and two black students in the class looked at me in confusion. The teacher asked me why I was laughing and I said to her that it was the first time that I ever saw a White Man with an Afro. I shook my head and asked her why a white man would want to invent a machine that would help the slaves reduce the cuts and bruises received from picking cotton by hand. She told me that the history books didn't lie. I got up, shook my head, tossed the book in the trash and said, "The facts are not true to what they should be. All throughout the history books the whites were made bigger than life and the blacks and other races were made to look like Pigmies. Therefore, you are teaching us facts that are lies!!", and I walked out. I came back the following day, but whenever there was a test and I felt that the answers in the book were wrong, I elaborated on the test by giving the answers from the book and adding what I felt were the correct answers.
Although I do have a keen sense of humor, I cannot tolerate false Doctrines. I also feel that however much you learn in school, it is what you learn in life that matters most. I believe in GOD, however, I don't always believe in those that are ordained to teach us those beliefs. This section is going to be difficult. Back in the late forties, while studying Catecism, I was held back one day by the Priest, Father Higgins. As I said earlier, I was ridiculed for most of my school years because I had bad teeth. Whether it was for this reason or another, I don't know, but Father Higgins began to violate me and I pushed back. He slapped me hard and said that he was a man of the cloth, and if I resisted, I would go straight to H**l. I ran home, stopped twice to puke, and when I got home, I told my parents what had happened. I got a beating by my father for lying about the priest. I wanted to contact the Fall River Diosis (I know that is spelled wrong), but my parents would not allow it, saying that they would be ex-communicated. I skipped Catecism the following week, just to have Father Higgins show up at the front door. He gave me a black eye in front of my parents and yelled at them, telling them that I had better not miss another class. On one occasion he kept me and a young girl behind. She was just beginning to develop and he pushed her into me and demanded that I take her blouse off. At the same time he ordered her to pull my zipper down. She was crying hysterically. I turned, punched Father Higgins, grabbed the girl and rushed out of church. I warned her not to tell her parents what happened, but the following day in school she had a black eye.
There have been many times in my life that I have made my own choice, knowing that I was in the right but would be hurt for standing up to my own convictions. This led to many years of this, to try to forget. These incidences occured more than fifty years ago, unfortunately I remember them like it was yesterday. I do thank GOD for Shirley, because we have been together for eighteen years and it has been that long since I've been sober. I enjoy playing Golf, I enjoy reading (at times), I use to bowl, but most of all I enjoy the friendships that I have made within this community. As most of you know, I love to joke. However, I felt that I needed to unload a burden that has weighed me down for over fifty years, I hope I did not upset anyone by it, because it is not my intention to do so. I will always retain my humor, because, to be truthful, it is my Armor. I know how tears feel, I know how it feels to be ridiculed, I know how it feels when you do the right thing knowing that it will hurt in the end, and I know how if feels not to be wanted. It is a lonely, dreadful feeling, and being armed with all of these feelings helps me to know how it feels to be loved.
Perhaps the only thing that confuses me right now is this. This is not an ad but rather an observation. When I began M&S Music Management I did so to help Shirley further her career in singing. Along the way, I decided to help others. I have gotten my price down to $50.00 for a lifetime membership. I have entertainers asking me why they have to pay? With everything that I have to do to get one person recognized it cost me over, way over the $50.00 fee. We no longer have a car, because I couldn't afford it, our computer is old and needs to be replaced, we can't afford it, and we generally want to help as many people as possible. I have many on my site that never paid a penny. Will I take them off? No. I'm not built that way. Her's what I really look like.
In closing, we need more love, respect, understanding, and caring for one another. Facts are only as good as the source that they came from. If you read something that is suppose to be based on fact, and you don't feel that the facts are true, investigate it. We have a diverse community here and I love each and every one of you, but I won't kiss the men.
God Bless You All!!
