Dear Rev. Dave,

We will certainly keep Therence in our prayers here. 



Father God,

One of your children named Therence is severely ill and I ask that you please wrap him in your arms and heal him of this terrible malaria if it is in your will.  This way he can continue to be of service to you and spread the gospel here on earth.  Please comfort his family and friends as well in their time of need.  Give them hope and the strength to get through this ordeal.

Thank you, Marion. I admire that you pray "if it is your will". That is so important to being a true person of faith and devotion to God. I always end every prayer of my own by saying to God that I have faith that He hears my prayers and that He will answer my prayers in whatever way is best for all concerned. And I believe that is true for everyone's prayers. God hears them all and answers them all in whatever way is best for all concerned. It may not always be what we want, but it is always what's best. And we must have faith that though we may not always understand why God permits some things to happen and why He doesn't always give us what we ask for, what He does do is always what is best. And maybe one day, we will come to understand it; if not in this life, then in the next when we are with Him. Thank you again Marion from Therence and from me. -Rev. Dave

You are so right Rev. Dave.  We would like God to work asap, but it does not work that way.  Patience is one of the hardest things to master I think.  You know, I even have the message "Have Faith" on my cell phone to remind me. 

Can you imagine having to listen to billions of prayers a day?  Our God is truly an awesome God. 

Keep us posted on Therence's progress and I will continue to keep him in my prayers.

I am happy to report that Therence is recovering nicely and my be released from the hospital by the end of the week.
