In Our Daily Bread, October 26, there's an interesting story about  Florence Chadwick who, in 1951 attempted to swim from Catalina Is. on the California coast. You would think that it would be the bone-chilling waters and sharks of the Pacific that would be the challenge. It turned out to be the dense fog that settled over the escort boats and Florence that won this victory to stop her from the goal.

Her reply to a reporter later that day, included no excusing herself of her failure  but explaining how she might have made it if she had seen land.  Not long after she repeated her attempt. This time a misty fog dropped over the coast line again but this time she did not give up because she knew the coastline was not far. She made it, breaking the men's record by two hours.

Many of us have faced a fog of doubt as we strive for goals life offers. We have many supporters of every discription but will they help you see the shore line? Will you help somone see the coast through the fog so you can achive and finish your goal?
