The last two days have been very tense here in the UK and I am sure around the globe also. The British Airports have been brought to chaos. Parents of young babies forced to drink their baby's milk in front of security officers to ensure the fluid was not a liquid explosive! Hand luggage emptied into clear plastic bags and no other hand luggage permitted into the flight cabin. Ordinary folk going on summer holidays forced to wait for hours on end as flights were delayed or indeed cancelled completely. Through all of this the great British public continued to smile...kept flying and refused to lie down for the sake of an evil minority. We will contiue to fly and we understand the security measures that are now in place. Keep smiling people of the world for we are the majority and we will fight this no matter what.

It is really very very sad that terrorism is running rampant through the world

today. All the nations of the world have to be strong against it and I have

no doubt that the UK will continue to stand strong just like the USA.

      What could have happened this week was unimaginable. But thanks to the intelligence of your MI-6, a true tragedy was averted.

First belated  sorry I missed it too busy as usual.

I have been watching the developments as My stepson flies out to get married within the next few days and a few of his brothers and their girlfiends fly out midweek next week.

You are quite right that we "British" have not only a stiff upper lip, we need it because they are talking about body cavitiy searches and I don't mean noses or ears, so if required we will bend over and think of England while someone gives us the finger!
