A great little illustration.
I have to go to see an elderly client tomorrow who lost her father at 10, her mother at 14, a child at 9 and two husbands from cancer.
She has spent a lifetime feeling the victim. She has just found somebody who cares and wants her.
She doesn't want to lose him because of who she has become, that shows hope, she still has a hair. I'm going tomorrow to tell her what she can do with it.
