Hello dear friends,

As I sit here in the swing on my front porch - http://www.allowprosperity.com/swingview.html - gazing at the mountain ranges that surround us and the beauty of Lake Lure, I am grateful as I think about how quickly everything has changed in the last few months.

From the moment our real estate agent Steve called with the news that a developer has offered the full price of 1.2 million dollars (because he knows the land is a prime spot for development of fast food, gas stations, etc.), it has been magical.  People and circumstances have fallen into place and now here I sit in our dream home in Bat Cave, NC.

The interesting thing is that when I finally learned to really detach from the outcome of what I wanted most - the move to NC - that is when I began to receive exactly what I wanted.

When I decided that I was perfectly happy and grateful for my home in MI and would be very comfortable here for the rest of my life, my dreams actually began to manifest.

The developer of the land in MI offered to allow us to stay in the house for as long as we needed while we found our new home here in the NC mountains.  Fortunately, David, our real estate agent in Lake Lure, NC had kept us in mind all this time, so when we called him he already had the perfect home in mind.  He is amazing.

Then the developer also offered us an extra $200,000 for the furniture and furnishings in our house in MI because he and some of his crew are living there while they develop the land.

We were able to move here to NC without a lot of baggage.  We just moved our two vehicles, RV, dogs, clothing and personal belongings - and that was really simple.

And... to make it even more perfect, our new home here in NC came fully furnished as is so often the case in this vacation area.  The former owners even offered us their pontoon boat because they are moving to an area where there is no water.  We love the boat house too with a deck on top where we can sit and watch the other boats go by as we enjoy the mountain views.  What a glorious site!

We often take our pontoon boat onto Lake Lure and tie it up with our neighbors' pontoon boats and drift together to cook dinner on gas grills and watch the sun set over the water.  Now, that is a beautiful site that often brings me to tears.

We have only been here for a few weeks and already at least 30 people have knocked on our front door to introduce themselves.  They have invited us to all the community events and we feel so perfectly at home here already.  They even brought so much delicious home cooked food that I didn't cook anything myself for the first two weeks.

We are also very grateful for the Internet connection we have here so that we can continue to operate our businesses from our new home.  Already we have had several of our online friends and business associates come to visit us.  YOU are invited to visit us too!

Dennis and I are so grateful for our new home here in Bat Cave, NC, only an hour from my family in Gastonia, NC.

We give thanks to God every day for the gift of each other, our new life here in NC and all of the friends we have made here and throughout the world.

All is well in our world.

sounds just a delightful place, I am so pleased for you.  I am not so sure about the visit though as I am terribly distant.lol.

Enjoy NC & your new life.

Linda,                                                               Friday, July 07, 2006

It has been some time since I have responded in any forums, I wish to thank you for keeping me in the loop and I want also to say that I know for myself that what ever it is that you are doing it will succeed, simply because that is the type person that you are.

Good luck in everything Hun I myself could not live in a valley it would close in on me, I once lived in californis on Camp Pendleton in a section called Santa Onnefrey Sugah I was so happy when it was my time to leave that post it was up in the mountains and I litteraly hated it, being for the city it was strange looking around and there were nothing but nmountains all around 360 degrees.

So, as I said it bugged me out and I envy you being able to deal with it and actually seeing the beauty in it. Once again I wish to thank you for the opportunity to post in your forum, and for keeping me in the loop, good luck to you my friend.

Sincerely,

Manuel D.                                                                       3:04:12 AM
