“Thought concentrated on a definite purpose becomes power”
The quotation above taken from The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel will form the basis of this part 2 of Thought and Faith: What Effect on Man’s Life?
We have been able to establish earlier that man is a thinking center and that whatever happens in our outer world is mostly the reflection of the dominant thought in the world within us.
What we need to do now is to be able to concentrate our thoughts like the laser technology on a particular purpose or desire so that whatever power that such purpose or desire will generate to be able to become manifest in our life will be to our advantage.
The subconscious mind which is the workshop where all thought generates their manifest-able power is said to be so stupid and munificent that plainly stating to it a particular thing to be achieved, forces are set in motion for the accomplishment of such desired results.
Therefore for own benefit it behooves us that we constantly feeds our subconscious mind through the conscious mind positive thoughts every now and then. Doubts, worry, fear, poverty, evil, disorder, disasters and faithlessness should never be part of our daily thoughts.
“He who has conquered doubt and fear has conquered failure” that’s what James Allen said in his timeless classic As A Man Thinketh.
Also, we need to know that our subconscious mind is the route for us to get in touch with the Omnipotent God. Thus we can not impress on Him unless we hold our thoughts with a laser-like concentration, a definite purpose to attain it and with the strongest of faith.
We must have a clear mental picture of what we want in our mind constantly to achieve such desired results. This is what Wallace D. wattles called Thinking in The Certain Way. We must go over it, live it, see it clearly, feel it, touch it and believe we have it.
James Allen said “Thought allied fearlessly to purpose becomes creative force. He who does this has become the conscious and intelligent wielder of his mental powers”
Wallace D. Wattles said “You must know what you want and be specific and definite. You can never get rich or start the creative power into action by sending out unformed longings and vague desires”
Francis Larimer Warner said "We have discovered that premeditated, orderly thinking for a purpose matures that purpose into fixed form, so that we may be absolutely sure of the result of our dynamic experiment."
