Dear Mary, Well, this is cool. I have 4 songs that I either wrote or co-wrote, and that is me singing, lol. You are all welcome to listen: http://www.bolinfamilyjewelry.com/about.html And here is a poem for you: Young Conqueror copyright 1992, Shannon L. (Milligan) Bolin The conquest has ended-- It's over and done. The battle is finished. You've fought and you've won. You've gained new horizons, You've conquered new lands, You've built up whole empires With merely your hands. You've striven in earnest, Success was your aim, And you have succeeded, Completed the game. Your knowledge and wisdom, Your insight and zeal, Have aided your conquest, Your power revealed. And now that it's over, The challenge is met, Now that you've gotten All that you can get Now that you've conquered, Success you do reap, Lay down, my baby, And go back to sleep. May everyone have a Happy 4th of July! Sincerely,
Shannon Bolin

Hello Mary, I went all over to England to get my licence. Our friend Ritchie Blacmore gave me free entrance. Perfect Strangers (Blackmore/Glover/Gillan) Can you remember remember my name As I flow through your life A thousand oceans I have flown And cold spirits of ice All my life I am the echo of your past I am returning the echo of a point in time Distant faces shine A thousand warriors I have known And laughing as the spirits appear All your life Shadows of another day And if you hear me talking on the wind You've got to understand We must remain Perfect Strangers I know I must remain inside this silent well of sorrow A strand of silver hanging through the sky Touching more than you see The voice of ages in your mind Is aching with the dead of the night Precious life (your tears are lost in falling rain) And if you hear me talking on the wind You've got to understand We must remain Perfect Strangers REGARDS Georgios

No festival is complete without FUNNEL CAKES so gather round and they will be served hot and fresh. This is a Pennsylvania Dutch treat. FUNNEL CAKES 1 1/4 c flour 2T. sugar 1 t. baking powder 1/4 t. salt Beat 1 egg--add 2/3 c. milk and stir into all the dry ingredients. Stir til smooth. Heat oil or deep fat 375 degrees. Holding one finger over bottom of a funnel having a 3/8" to 1/2" hole, fill the funnel with batter. Holding funnel as close as possible, remove finger and with a circular motion, drop the batter into a 3 inch circle. Fry til puffy and golden brown, turning once. Remove with slotted spoon to absorbent paper. Sprinkle with confection sugar, cinnamon sugar or molasses. makes 2- 21/2 dozen cakes. P.S. did anyone tell your husband not to use the funnel in your kitchen to put oil in the car? _______ Visit Adlandpro Community Cookbook http://community.adlandpro.com/forums/thread/361700.aspx
