Hello dear friends,
Based on the instructions in Part 1 of this exercise in loving yourself, I hope that you have sent an email to 3 friends or family members asking them to list 10 things they love most about you.... and I hope you have listed 10 things you love most about yourself.
There are two more steps to take in Part 2 of this exercise.
1. Make two new lists:
Make a list of ten things you would LIKE others to love about you.
and
Make a list of ten things you THINK others do already love about you.
This will help you clarify how you feel you are perceived by others and may help you identify some lovable things about yourself that you might not otherwise acknowledge.
2. My husband and I have a practice of sharing our gratitude for each other by sending emails daily with three things we love about each other. It changes every day. We call it "My three things."
For example, my husband may list in his email to me:
I love how carefully you prepared my dinner last night.
I love how you were so happy to see me when I got home from work.
I love how you took a walk with me.
And I might list for my husband:
I love that you got home on time for dinner last night.
I love how you cut the grass and made our yard look great.
I love that you asked me to take a walk with you.
Get the idea?
Ask you partner or a friend OR your Manifesting Partner to practice this exercise with you by exchanging an email daily or weekly - whatever works for you - listing at least "three things" you love and appreciate about each other.
It will become a habit you look forward to in your daily practice of loving yourself.
