Hi Everyone Most of you know that I'm retired but most of you don't realize that I have a Defibulator It was put in in June of 2003 as a precaution to when my heart stops, it would restart it Yesterday June 2, 2006 at 12:49 pm CST, the inevitable happened It went off and I ended up going to the hospital, but it wasn't because my heart had stopped It was because my heart jumped to a rate of 270 beats per minute They checked me out thouroghly and sent me home with a clean bill of health I am home but taking better care of myself because I DON"T want it to go off again So if I'm slow at answering posts that is why

Dear Larry, That was one of the scariest Skype conversations I have ever had!!! Don't you do that to me again! Lol, I know it had to hurt. Folks, me and a couple other friends are talking to Larry, when all of a sudden he yells something I can't repeat here, then we hear a bunch of fumbling, then he says his pacemaker went off and he has to go, then another expletive, then we hear him call for a ride to the hospital... He about gave us all a heart attack! Larry, I'm glad you have that thing, even though I know it hurt. It's nice to still have you with us. And if it stops that thing from going off again, go as slow as you need to! Love Ya,

Hi Larry, Wheew! Glad I wasn't in on that Skype call! I'm sure all your friends will understand. Take it easy, and if you need help with anything let me know (I'm not leaving for a week like some people). lol

Please take care of yourself. I will be praying for you. If you feel that you need to, please go to the hospital. If you are feeling tired, weak, your heart isn't beating regularly, dizzy, lightheaded, you need to go to the hospital. Can you call your friend and ask her to watch Wannabee while you are in emergency? Take a nap while you wait for the doctors. But don't bother asking for water or something to eat, because they won't give it to you.
