Hi Everyone
I received this from Lola Vanslette and if anyone is interested in sending a prayer to her and her family, here is her email address

Hi Larry,
I just wanted to let you know they finally set a "date" for Stephen's jaw reconstruction. It is set for July 5th. (the same week we had planned on returning to Kentucky for our belongings...guess that'll have to wait..again!)
Anyway, just thought I'd pass that on to you. I was told he would be walking on his own by the middle or end of Summer. No jumping or running, but hey, it takes time.
There are many days I long for the way it used to be, but I know those days are gone forever. All we can do is move on and see what tomorrow brings us. I can only hope the future is a whole lot better than the past has been for our family. We have been through more than any family should have to, and that isn't just speaking about Stephen. We were very blessed that he survived, but so many others are not so lucky.
My daughters' cousin passed away last week. He was about 22, was in the Marines and died in a car accident. He was drinking at a bar while on leave. The really sad part was that he was engaged to be married this year.
So many losses in our family have affected the kids greatly. My daughter said, last year after her father, grandfather, step-grandfather, uncle, great grandmother and 2 month old nephew had died within 4 months.."our whole family is dying". It feels that way. Most of my family, and we had a huge family, are gone. It makes me wonder why I am still here.
Of course, my mother and father are still alive, so maybe I have stong genes, but it makes no sense that so many have died so young.
Now that I have depressed everyone, I wish you a good week, and please...DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! I've lost too many friends and family, I'd hate to lose you too.
Your friend,
Lola
