U4gm Path of Exile 2 No More Limits on Support Skill Gems
8/27/2025 3:44:46 AM
If you’re into Path of Exile, you’re probably gonna lose your mind over this—PoE 2 just dropped a huge QoL update: support skill gem restrictions are gone PoE 2 Currency. Yep, gone. That means you can finally link as many support gems as your little heart desires to your active skills. The level of build customization just went off the charts.

For those who don’t know, support skill gems are the gems you link to your active skills to tweak them. They can boost damage, increase range, make your AoE bigger, add crazy elements—you name it. Basically, they let you turn a regular skill into something absurdly overpowered.

Before this, we all had to make some brutal choices. “Do I take extra damage or bigger area?” “Do I go crit chance or attack speed?” Now? None of that. Slap on all the supports you want and watch your skills go from zero to 100 real quick.

The Game-Changing Update
With the removal of restrictions on support skill gems in Path of Exile 2, players no longer have to worry about hitting a limit on the number of support gems they can use. This means that you can now freely experiment with different combinations of support gems to create powerful and unique builds that suit your playstyle. Whether you prefer a high-damage glass cannon build or a tanky defensive build, the possibilities are endless with this new update.

So, how do you make the most of this game-changing update? The best way is to experiment with different support skill gem combos alongside your active skills. Play around with different mixes to see which ones work well together and give your build a nice boost.

With the restrictions on support skill gems gone in Path of Exile 2, it opens up a whole new world of options. Now you can freely combine support gems to craft really unique builds. It’s all about customizing your character to match your playstyle and having fun trying out different setups.
