Hi Kathy, This post is so very true and a welcome opportunity for me to once again say thank you to the members for the concern shown to not only me but to everyone who was affected by the traumatic events of last summer. About two weeks after the leaving my home in New Orleans, having been airlifted to San Antonio Texas and then going by bus to the home of friends in Dallas-I was to put it mildly a little dis-oreinted. Not even thinking about my online life, I scanned emails letting people know we were okay and reading the expressions of concern by people who had only known me from various programs I belong to. Imagine my surprise to find that in one paid to read program I belong to had started to make donations on my behalf that I could use as I needed to! When I finally opened mail from Kathy, I was blown away by the caring and concern and well wishes from AdlandPRo members! Yesterday, I tracked down a woman who had been looking for a family member online-saw someone looking for me-and since another webmistress had put out the words to keep me in prayer-connected my friend-who connected my son and my friend in California-to me! So by the time I was able to use phones set up by the Red Cross-I was able to find out in a matter of a few minutes, everyone who was looking for me. Each one of these people took one action! I think of this often, it is a constant source of comfort. I have thought a lot about what kind of contribution I would like to make that would allow me to do something, right where I am, using the resources available to me. The concept I have come up with is called "join a Team of Five". I would like to invite my friends here to participate in a 5 year project that will consist of groups of 5 people per team. Each team member will build their own individual business but work in a synergetic environment that maximizes the efforts of the team members.
