Let us help you, come be a part of our team.Kathy How to build a Solid Online Presence with Internet Communities What are they and how are they useful? Internet communities are just what they sound like… communities on the Internet. I was introduced to Internet communities while searching for free advertising and promotion of my E-commerce business. These are great for networking, advertising, or just for the acquisition of knowledge. But, one thing they all have in common is a profile or your home page. Your profile is an introduction and description of you not your business. With my inception to E-commerce I was prompted to post to as many free advertising sites as possible I didn’t take time with my profile, I just want to join the community, and promote my business. But I have found that your profile is the most important thing when promoting a business online. Much like off line introductions first impressions count. After participating with a few different communities I’ve found they all have similarities like; interests, personal description, website link, employment or industry description etc. I suggest picking a community you would like to join, and see what information they want for your profile and then open your word processor and spend some time drafting your ideal profile. Remember while doing this you want to spend some time and think about the type of people you want to attract. You are going to and want to attract people that find you interesting. Think like a prospect, maybe even take some time and read other people’s profiles. Remember this is not a sales pitch for your business or product. You might be very excited about your business or product but that is what the website link is for. You want your profile to convey the desirable qualities you have that they can relate to. I say think like a prospect because people don’t buy services and products solely in these communities but they are buying you. I suggested using a word processor to do up your profile to save time for future community profiles. Once you have your masterpiece profile you will be able to copy and paste it to other communities you join so all of your profiles will have continuity. This profile is how you are going to build a solid online presence. There are many online communities, some free, some paid, but all effective with the right profile. Here are some links to online communities I belong to. I hope you have found this useful and wish you much success in your online endeavours. http://www.dirbz.com/simikathy Cashworld.com/simikathy linkedin.com/simikathy gurulisting.com/simikathy there are so many that if you are interested you may email me privately

Hi Kathy, Thanks for sharing these communities with me. I agree that your profile is your most important tool and so deserves the time it takes to draft and complete. I have been looking at Direct Matches for some time but have yet to join. Can you give me more information on how it works. You can send me a private message if you like. Thanks in advance Mairead
