How Does EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Work With Weight Loss?
For those who have experienced EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), you know how remarkable and long-lasting the neutralizing results can be for a wide variety of emotional blocks and limiting beliefs. Now, according to reports of
Gary Craig's many EFT practitioners, hundreds of human guinea pigs have used EFT effectively for weight loss, eating disorders, and even exercise aversion.
For example, if we could simply not eat except when genuinely hungry, we could eliminate one of the primary sources of extra weight gain - emotional eating. Simply don't eat, except when hungry. However, simple doesn't actually translate to easy, as many of you know!
With EFT we can collapse the immediate desire to 'eat for comfort' and even the illusion that we are hungry when we are not. When we collapse this desire/illusion, we stop eating except for hunger. No emotional eating, means no extra food, means no extra pounds!
This is just one example… we can also use EFT for weight loss to:
- Resolve the desire to eat, when we are actually just thirsty.
- Eliminate cravings that inspire us to make bad food choices like fast food, caffeine, chocolate, cookies, the white foods, etc.
- Eliminate our fear of 'looking too good' or 'being unsafe' if we lose the weight.
- Eliminate the self-loathing that we feel when we look in the mirror, thus causing self-sabotaging responses. - Eliminate the need for protection and therefore the need to have extra weight as a shield.
- Remove the limiting beliefs that we've picked up from others such as… women/men your age can't lose weight, your hormones are causing extra pounds and there's nothing you can do about it, you're overweight because you used to be athletic and now you can't be, you'll never get down to that 'fighting weight' again!….etc., etc., etc.,
EFT collapses our unhealthy addictions and self-sabotaging patterns of behaviors.
How Does LOA (the Law of Attraction) Work With Weight Loss?
What we put our attention upon, expands. Therefore, when we feel unattractive and we see that, express that, and think about being unattractive we actually attract more of the experience of being unattractive.
Sometimes this translates to simply not taking care of ourselves by wearing clothes that are unappealing and unattractive or by not taking personal hygiene seriously.
Still, other times, it translates to years of adding on (attracting) the extra pounds to confirm… 'Yep, I'm not attractive! See! Look at that fat reflection!"
If a person were told in their childhood anything that may have been translated to… …You're not pretty enough…. …You'll never be thin because… …You're not fit for human eyes… (The above are actual beliefs that clients are working on that have caused them to feel 'unattractive'.) …then this limiting belief actually magnetizes the 'fat-building' situation!
We are actually inspired to eat poorly, eat emotionally, and to not exercise because the law of attraction is working against us. If we hate what we look like, we are applying the law of attraction to have more of us to hate!
By shifting our attention to LOVING who we are and what we look like, no matter what our current condition, we begin to be inspired to eat right, take care of ourselves, love our bodies, and even exercise!
By applying the Law of Attraction to attract a healthy, thin, beautiful, healthy body and self-image, then we can magnetize that experience into our life!
