the future is a not a given...it is largely unseen...we can begin to see how much we determine our own futures and regain our
rights to it...i now have no parents alive to
help me in any way...i must now rely upon myself...my brothers and sisters all are
claiming their place in this world, building lives and relationships that do not include me. eveything changes, family disappears, brothers and sisters make new families and acquire new friends...the friends of my youth are gone...people are more like strangers than friends...relationships are civil at best....marriages break up, families are splintered everywhere..the elderly are alone and often abandoned...once lost, relationships are difficult to
begin again...there is always something to do..a movie to see, a book to read,a hobby to fill up the hours.. how to feel love, friendship and happiness in the future will surely require sincerity and devotion in a brave new world either unwilling or unable to give
