Oktoberfest was a while back, Fasching or Carnival start was last week (or was it the week before?), now it is the start of the Christmas Market season here in Germany. As if they needed an excuse to drink alcoholic beverages (smile).
So it is off down to the town square as soon as it starts to get dark to see the fun and games.
