Have you found your Dharma?
3/10/2006 8:28:18 AM
Hello friends, "Dharma" is a sanskrit word that loosely translated means "purpose in life." To have found our dharma is indeed a beautiful thing! Dharma can be more than one thing, and dharma can also change and evolve as we do. But basically, we know that we're in our dharma when we love what we do, when we feel fulfilled, when we are unaware of the time that goes by when we are working. True dharma is work that we enjoy and that also helps people in some way. From one of my Purposeful Partners, Lissa Coffey of http://www.coffeytalk.com Have you found your dharma?

Linda, That you have written this is a little spooky to me. Just a few days ago I asked myself the same question. Until my divorce just a little over a year ago I knew my purpose in life, the circle was then complete. Now, my life is my 13 y/o son. Although he brings a joy and pride into my heart like nothing else can, my circle was broken. It will heal in time, but I fear it will not be complete without the Eve to make it whole again. Any advise?

Hello Linda, My answer to your question would have to be "I am beginning to". You know life is a journey of discovery about things which you have no knowledge of and things about yourself. What I am discovering about "me" is that I have a strength of positive resolve for finding a solution to whatever comes my way. I have the gift of counseling. http://homebasedenterprises.bravehost.com

Hi Don, It isn't really "spooky." It is the Law of Attraction IN ACTION. You always attract to you what you are thinking about. When you believe that everything is in perfect and Divine order, whether you understand it or not, life become a little easier. I speak firsthand because after the passing of my son in 2003, I did not know how I would find my way. I believe my son led me to find a book, Radical Forgiveness by Colin Tipping. The first chapter of Radical Forgiveness changed my entire outlook on life INSTANTLY. I think it may be especially helpful for you because the first chapter is about Colin Tipping's sister and her husband. You can read the first chapter online here: http://www.ArtOfRadicalForgiveness.com You may also read the story of how my son led me to find Radical Forgiveness here. Let me know how you feel after you read that first chapter. Blessings.

Thank you Linda, I will. It sounds like a book I want to add to my library for inspiration. I trust it is available over the counter or Amazon? I can only imagine your sorrow. My heart goes out to you. Thanks again.
